THE SHUTEN CLAN - ONE PIECE THEORY From One Piece Chapter 916, we got to know that the thief who stole from the farm was Shuten-maru. According to Japanese legend, Shuten-doji was a legendary yokai/oni. And he was son of the 8 headed 8 tailed dragon, Yamata no Orochi. In one piece too, our shogun's name is Kurozumi Orochi. So is this thief the son of the shogun of wano? Shuten-doji was abandoned by his own mother at very young age so maybe the shogun of wano, Kurozumi Orochi abandoned his own son Shuten-maru.. Ibaraki-doji was partner of Shuten-doji and Ibaraki-doji was strong female looking like personality but its still unknown whether Ibaraki is male or female.. We have similar situation in one piece with O-Kiku, she uses "Sessha" pronoun to introduce herself which is only done by male samurai and Oda is hinting something by this. So maybe O-Kiku of one piece is taken from Ibaraki-doji and maybe O-Kiku is working for this thief, Shuten-maru. Who else can be member of Shuten clan in one piece? According to legend, Shuten doji was a monk but disobyed the rule by drinking alcohol and we have Urouge with epithiet Mad Monk. Both are mad monks so why not they work together? Shuten-doji was defeated by a strong samurai from Fujiwara clan. So breaking everything down in terms of one piece, I came down to 4 groups. Shogun and Kaido's group, the main villian. Kozuki and Luffy group, the main hero who will defeat the Shogun and Kaido's group. Third group, the clan of Shuten-maru who is trying to conqueror wano by defeating shogun, the father of Shuten himself. And the fourth group, the marine trying to interfere may counter this Shuten's group making the marines group, fujiwara group. I wanna hear what you think?
